Building a Resilient Food System
As part of the effort to grow the local food and farm economy and cultural vitality, grassroots and grasstops leaders have come together for the first time to determine how to collaboratively advance a future-forward vision and strategy for Yuba Sutter’s food system. With an eye to healthy food access, local food systems development, expansion of food skills, and nurturing the community’s food-centered identity, these leaders have established the Yuba Sutter Food Policy Council.
